Gird_09 sequel to Assraping a Nun - Gonzo part two

Popular demand, which I always listen to, necessitates a round two/final round of the gonzo remix thing we did with Assraping a Nun. However we don't want to do the same damn thing over again, so a few alterations are needed.

OK. Here's the rub: It's been ten years since the release of Japanese Whore, and as a follow up to that AND Assraping a Nun I'm gonna do a "double sequel" called "Asian Double Penetration". It will be in the vein of Assraping a Nun, but this time I will provide two gonzo tracks for anyone to remix. The tracks, and their files will be uploaded on july 31., and you will have exactly one week to do a remix, or two - or as many as you damn well please. Anyone who makes the deadline is on the release, regardless of content or quality. Consider this an invitation! (After this I promise I will go back to "serious" track titles again. I promise!)

If you know of anyone who should be invited to participate, don't hesitate to ask. In keeping with the gonzo style and tradition it should all be fast, dirty and preferably just one big pile up gang bang.

Assraping a Nun

I have something special for you.

This thing started out as something of a joke, about how some bands can get away with the most inane and infantile track and album titles. I said "I'm gonna make a track called Assraping a Nun". Before I knew people said they wanted to do their own versions. And that's what happened.
I did a gonzo track in about four hours, and all these people sat down and did their own gonzo remixes. It was all fast, "unedited" and very spontaneous. In less than a week we had an album of sorts.

I give to you both the original track, and eight (!) remixes by fantastically talented people. I am humbled.

Massive thanks to Larry Kerr, Batcheeba, Frostwinter, Epilektrician and P. Emerson Williams for contributing these mixes. (Mr. Williams went ahead and made three of them even...)

The Carapace release is nearing completion and release.

Carapace will be available for download from 23:59 (approximately) CET 30. october until 16:00 CET on november first. After this I will delete the files from the download service. The music will be available from http://www.frp93.blogspot.com - the home of Free records, Poser!, as usual.

Carapace is a three track EP with themes of insects, transformation and body horror, completely free of charge and intellectual barriers, such as copyright.

Taxonomy of common logical fallacies

Considering that I don't allready have too many things to do I decided to upload this more experimental project while I'm busy working on the up and coming "Carapace" for Gird_09 and an album for FRzO. I have called it "Taxonomy of Common Logical Fallacies" and it consists of three parts: Argumentum ad Ignorantium, Post hoc Adaptation of the Hypothesis and Infinite Tautological Revolutions. It should be pretty self explanatory.

All the source material for this release is harvested from various forms of popular entertainment doing serious glitching, in a little over a year. The sounds have consequently been manipulated by me and presented in inverse chronology to the harvesting.

The parts are not seperated and the entire project is presented as a single 22:38 minute mp3-file. Enjoy.

Jenna Flechette 2

This is a collection of tracks from 2003, which was to comprise the second Jenna Flechette release. For reasons unknown to man the record was never completed. A track is missing, but I have inserted a different track in its place.
Hopefully, some of you perverted souls out there should find this enjoyable.

As with the first Jenna Flechette it is experimental and abbrasive, but also contemplative and introspective. It ranges from pure harsh noise to ambient, with post industrial somewhere in between.

IX: International Gird_09 Day

090909 is upon us, and with it Gird_09's IX. It's been quite some time since a release of this kind, going back to Jenna Flechette in 2003 (though I did release four tracks via myspace in 2006-07). It's been fifteen years since I took the name Gird_09, so this is a good occasion for a new release.

IX consists of eight tracks, and four images for your pleasure.
The genre is some kind of industrial ambient, that I have chosen to call horror ambient. The tracks are inspired by horror films and books, and tell a loose tale, but are not an attempt to make a soundtrack as such.

Japanese Whore/Z-19 Through the Shredder.

I have a semi legendary recording for you today. Atleast to a select circle.

Through the Shredder is an extensive reworking by Cthulberg (Atropine, Mauled by Sloths, Pogrom Synod, Epilektrician etc) of my complete catalogue anno 2001.

It was released after I decided to disband both my projects (Japanese Whore and Z-19), and has only been heard by a select few. Never before available for download.

There is no copyright on this work, and you should feel free to copy, distribute, sample or further develop what you find in these files.

Music For Boiling Humans

Today I ditched the amplifier and speakers I used to record all my outputs between 1999 and 2002. My most productive period, no doubt. It didn't feel good, but it's the way it is, it was broken.

To commemorate it I present you with Music for Boiling Humans, from 2001.

Originally recorded as a side project to Z-19, under the name Japanese Whore, and released in 20 copies on FrP. The monicker Japanese Whore was later dropped, along with Z-19, and since that most of the files have been available as Gird_09. Not all of them however... This re-release also contains an alternate version of one of the tracks. (Incidentally the name Japanese Whore remains in the intro...)

Thanks to Batcheeba for creating a new, superior, cover and HBA for providing a copy of the original music (mine was lost of course).

These two tracks from early 1999 represent a more house influenced take on music, but still quite dark and industrial I suppose. The incarceration theme was by chance, but looking back at my mood, and life situation, when I made them I see a certain truth to it.

Kultur Terror, Live in Studio December 1998

In december 1998 Vidkun Qristus and Gird_09 spent about a week in the same house we had recorded Støy Helvete E.P. earlier the same year. (More on the Støy Helvete E.P. will come at a later date.) By this time we had slightly upgraded our equipment, utilizing a Roland MC-303, Zoom effect box and Behringer eight track mixer. We were very inspired by artists such as Deutsh Amerikanische Freundschaft, Laibach, Cassandra Complex and Suicide and recorded a highly minimalist demo.

Five tracks resulted from the sessions (a sixth was written, but never recorded), two of these (93 and Discotime) ended up on the 93-demo, while the rest were heard by very very few.

93 was mainly inspired by Aleister Crowley and the Book of the Law, and was intended to be the opening number in a planned concert. It was a reworking of a track from Støy Helvete, along with the original 17 second version of Discotime.
Jesus From Nazireth was our most political number, attacking christianity and nazism at the same time.
Bambi was the most Suicide inspired song, and also inspired by a track Gird_09 had made along with Salvador of Darkside of the Force-fame, back in 1994.
Finally the United Nation was the Laibach inspired song, and also very inspired by Operation Desert Fox, which was ongoing at the time. The original version contained a number of samples related to this, but technical limitations meant we had to leave them out of this version. (Incidentally I have no idea what the lyrics are, even though it is me blurting them out at 240bpms there...)

Unfortunately these are the final tracks from KuTe to date...

Remember that these tracks were recorded live on inferior equipment, by inexperienced individuals. Everything is in mono and no noise reduction has been applied.

Free Records, Poser! is 10 years old this summer, and it's time we put some of the old recordings out there on the internet to comemorate 10 years of unproductive pipe dreams.

Granted, the ten years have not been entirely eventless. Back in 1999, when me (gird_09) and Vidkun Qristus founded FrP it was meant as a faux lable to put out our Kultur Terror (KuTe) records. At the time our ambitions ran high, and FrP was to be a part of KULTUR. KULTUR in turn was our version of NSK, sort of. We tried recruiting other members, and at some point there were six of us, involved in different projects, musical and otherwise. FrP however never took off.

There was the original KuTe-demo, my various projects (Z-19, Japanese Whore and Jenna Flechette, now collectively known as Gird_09) and a strange remix project by T.Kulberg of Atropine/Epilektrician fame. All this was "published" via FrP! at some time or a another using different media.

Free Records, Poser! was also very much a part of our anarchic anti-establishment ideology. We had a basic thought that we would adopt the different symbologies of authoritarian movements that we opposed, mix them together and somehow display them for what they was. FrP is also short for Fremskrittspartiet - a right wing/racist/objectivist/islamophobe political party in Norway.
The FrP! logo is itself a recolored version of their logo, with a big bite added to it. (The color however is a stab at some other entity, who also used a green apple to put out music...)

Anway, it's been ten years. It's time to let the music do the talking.
